Ability blocking Pokemon
Post Body

So here's a question...

Pokémon that have ability guards, such as Sceptile ex that state "prevent all effects of your opponents pokemon abilities done to this pokemon"

If I'm using something like Noivern's ability that prevents damage to me with a coin flip, which is valid? My ability isn't doing anything to my opponents pokemon, rather it is defensive in nature. Does it still stand, or does sceptile negate that?
