Thoughts on different grading companies ?

I want to grade my cards eventually but I know they arent cheap nor quick so I want to do my research but what is everyones thoughts on the different companies out there ? are there any specific you guys like ? This also might be a dumb question but do the newer/ smaller companies hold less legitimacy to grading ? or do most people accept 10s for 10s and lower numbers for the number grade they were given ? I hope this question made sense. Thank you !
