EDIT: GOT HIM THANK YOU

I've spent hours, day after day, riding around Giant's Bed looking for the grassland boy. He is nowhere to be found. Sonia told me where to find him! And yet, nothing. This is actually the second time this has happened - I got so frustrated last time I just started another playthrough, thinking there must be an error with the save file.

Why won't he appear? Does he have weather requirements? Is there a certain location where I should be looking besides just around giant's bed?
