Are we certain that the R for the RFakes means "regional?"

So with the recent Khu tweets, specifically the Detroit Becoming Human one, I'm not so certain that the R means "regional." Hear me out, with this speculation that there will be robotic forms of Pokémon, like how Miraidon is probably a robotic recreation of Koraidon, could the R actually mean "Robotic?" It would make more sense if it was Robotic Fakes, than Regional Fakes, meaning there would be robotic forms of Pokémon in the region, and that possibly the evil team of the region is making these robotic fake Pokémon to show that they are superior over the regular real Pokémon.
