Hello again! Well well well, it appears that by both their silence and action, I’ve gotten my answer to what I’m allowed to post and what I’m not. As such, until I find out where the question thread is I can’t ask questions (I think) but I’m being allowed to post these updates. If that changes, of course, I’ll try to figure out wherever it’s supposed to go and move it. Until then, I assume this is allowed and okay.

So updates: first off, my wife and I are both incredibly touched and surprised by just how much people seemed interested in this. Personally, I laughed because for the upteenth time any post of mine on any social media I have is completely outshadowed by a single post about my wife. I truly think she’s completely stunning in every way.

And yeah! She was a bit awkward at first but she’s completely finding her own in the game. She was kinda doing whatever at first, and I had to nudge her a little bit when she was confused at her rival saying he’d be on the route when he could actually be found at Floccey Ranch, but with that tiny guide rail she finished the rest of that first story stuff with little to no problems.

Until “the duck”

From bullet train to cow in a pasture seeing Psyduck in a grass encounter immediately solicited an excited squeal and a man (duck?) hunt to capture one for her very own. Prior to this her team composed of an overleveled starter Tepig, a wheedle, a… the other starting bug from viridian forest, a sewaddle, a Mankey she happened across, and a riolu she recognized from the video pokemon released about bidoof being an hm slave and finally getting his time to shine. As of writing right now, I’m not sure if she got that psyduck she wanted, but at some point she quit grinding for it and went back to Aspertia town to beat the gym, which she did in one go. And I’m super proud of her, because she did so by purposely using an advantageous type matchup ah la mankey. She finished out todays play session getting tired from some nyquil she took earlier, but she wanted to make it to Virbank first. Back on track! Except no, because she encountered the rarest encounter on route 20, a 1% Bagon, fell in love with “the turtle lizard dinasour dragon thing, oh it’s called bagon” panicked for 20 minutes on how to not fail to catch it, made her first move, crit killed it with her now level 17 I think starter, and the hunt was back on. She has yet to catch another one currently, but she’s determined to catch it even more so than she was for psyduck.

As always, as long as the mods keep letting me post this I’ll keep this updated. Thanks everyone who’s reading this and commenting, and some of the suggestions I’ve already got have put into plans future games for her to play if she likes the idea and wants to do so.

Finally, to finish off tonight’s post, I felt the need to say that we were playing the vanilla version of drayanos Blaze black 2 not the completed version, as per my wife’s choice after I told her the differences of each. Also, my game crashed and lost its save data so I’m restarting my run, but it’s not so far back I can’t catch up. Peace!
