Just got steamed by roark

Tried my first ever nuzlock since I'm a veteran since the games came out, have always been able to beat them easily. I went in with a level 13 chimchar with a minus speed plus sp.atk nature. I guess I had low roll on attack ivs cuz after 4 power up punches I still didn't 1 shot the onix, which outsped me, just my luck lmao. My budew was also minus special attack plus special Def. Useless, rest of team got wiped so fast. I'm in awe lmao.
