They show you a shop with buffs, then immediately incentivize you to completely ignore it. They sell you an item that will reveal future areas so you can prepare accordingly, but they somehow forget to tell you which battles have buffs like sentry entry that completely change how you approach the battle. Since the battles are randomly pooled from other game modes, there's often random difficulty spikes instead of smooth progression. Half of all bonus unit types they ask for are sprint/field, but there's only like 10 of those types of units combined. They wanted to improve upon battle villa as many people felt it was becoming tedious busy work, so they remove it and give us gamemode that takes way more time and effort every week instead of every month and doesn't even give diamonds. Imo, if you want to see a game mode like this done right just look at Honkai Star Rail's Simulated Universe.
