Want to shiny hunt Bulbasaur and having trouble

I just got the game and I was planning on going for a full shiny team, my first target is Bulbasaur
But I've been running around for an hour and have only seen 4 ðŸ˜ðŸ˜ how am I suppose to build up a catch combo of 31, much less 31?!?!?!?
I'd appreciate any suggestions or sumthin
