Turn Action confirmation/PING! off??

I Don't know if its just this game because no other pokemon's game confirmation bugs me like this one does. I love the music but hearing the confirmation sound gives me a headache, can I turn it off/ Delete the sound file? or am I stuck playing with no sound?
