Gendered Shiny Shedinja?

Hey there, so I have a shiny Shedinja in HOME (traded up from HGSS, obtained with the help of the Cute Charm exploit - I set mine to match with 50/50 gender ratio and them all be female), and it has the Female symbol next to its name. However, all my other non-shiny Shedinja (from various generations, including 3, 4, 6) are all genderless. What’s up with this? Is it related somehow to the cute charm exploit? Thanks!
