For those who don't know, if you connect your Pokemon GO account to Pokemon Home and transfer a pokemon to your Home account (the pokemon cannot return to GO so choose wisely), you will receive an item called Mystery Box. It's basically an incense item that only spawns the Pokemon Meltan. The item lasts one hour, and spawns one Meltan every ~50 seconds or so. With the double candy from catches granted by the Valentine's event as well as the triple candies from transfers you can get 9 candies for every Meltan caught and transferred.

In the hour that the item is active you should see between 60-70 Meltans, meaning you can net up to 630 candies just from catching and transferring Meltan. If you've got around 30 Pinap berries to burn, you can get that number over 800 and have enough candies to evolve two Meltan.
