My Son wants to know if this a good shadow or if he should purify?

My son caught this not to long ago . I wasn't to sure if the evolved form(s) were good Shadows to have or if it should just be purfied. I tried looking at the attacker link someone posted before for another mons but really didn't fully understand it. Figured I'd just ask for everyone's opinion. I appreciate yall and thanks in advance!
