I’ve always been curious as to the demographic of “pokeinvestors.” I assume that if you’re willing to invest in Pokémon cards you have to either be a fan or have been a fan of Pokémon at some point, otherwise why not just invest in other less volatile assets, right?
I’m sure most are at least AWARE of Pokémon, but how many just used to enjoy it as a kid and don’t care for it now? Or still play the games? Or just collect cards?
Personally I was a big fan of Pokémon as a kid and recently got back into card collecting, but I haven’t played the games since Sun/Moon and don’t see myself returning to those any time soon, even as an active gamer lol
