we were listening to hozier’s song shrike and my sister told me he had a unique sound and i agreed

i sometimes have this thing where i can describe music with colors for some reason and with this song the color purple came to mind but i couldn’t really match it with the vibe i guess

so i told her that he sounded like the color blue and maroon or dark red just because those are the first things that came to mind and they fit pretty well with the song

she then told me i might have synesthesia which was definitely interesting and cool in itself

but i thought about it again this morning and googled what does the color blue and dark red make together and sure enough it said violet or purple

i don’t even have the slightest idea about colors mixing with other colors but that was a really weird coincidence
