I got a splinter/dirt out

I got a splinter/dirt in my hand 2 days ago and I just noticed it. I got a knife the had these little dents on the edge of the blade and it was perfect for a scraping off epidermis. I scraped of a layer of skin that was covering it and I got the splinter/dirt out.
