I don't know why this popped into my head, but back in 2014 (maybe 2013), I was dating someone and the opportunity came up to go to Vegas. His dad got us a room at the Mirage so sure why not. We had been planning to come home that Saturday but he found out Don Rickles was in town and would probably be the last time we'd ever get to see him live. My ex was way too excited about it, so we stayed an extra day and he got tickets to see him. By this time, Rickles had to have been around 90 and he wound up passing away not long after this.
The show was terrible. Rickles really should not have been performing, if you can even call it that. The majority of the show was just tv screens playing old material of his. Poor Don just sat in a chair the whole time and told maybe 10 minutes of material besides the tv screens. It was so so bad.
But...
Bob Saget and John Stamos happened to be at the venue so that was cool.
