Pulled up to the drive thru and the employee sounded dead. Like, they were tired of life and ready to go home. I felt that.
Pulled up to the window and when boyfriend handed over the credit card, employee said, "You can have it" and handed us the food for free.
Unsure if the customer in front of us paid for it or if their POS was down (we saw that the person in front of us was able to pay in cash). But I hope that the employee has a great new year because they looked so tired and I just want to wish them only the best.
