There is a poem I always find my mind drifting back to. I don’t know where I saw or heard it and every time I think of it, I try to google the words. If anybody knows it please let me know. All I remember is something like,
“The Victorians valued hair because it’s the only part of the body that remains after death.”
I can’t remember much else but how it made me feel. I think they said something like, “I left parts of myself in your shower,” but I honestly don’t know. I think the title had something to do with “Thoughts from an Airplane.”
If anyone knows the poem, please let me know!
