This is my favourite Robert Frost poem. It's about the fragility of life against the backdrop of brutal and unexpected circumstances, and dealing with a tragic accident and the resultant death of a young man (a boy) in a shockingly matter-of-fact way. Published during the middle of the First World War.

And they, since they were not the one dead, turned to their affairs.
