What is a relationship in this world What benefits come with such a connection? To me, relationships are but a blur Something that only makes me look at a reflection

I see beautiful souls every day joined together as one Not knowing their stories all I see is them together As with me, im alone, and I'm done Cause to my heart and mind relationships don't last forever

Relationship-wise, I can't understand why others even bother My heart has been through many experiences and now it's tired It seems im a soul that must experience erasure Relationship wise, there is no love that my heart requires

I smile when I see beautiful souls together Come nightfall, however, I cry through envy Am I cursed with this burden forever? This heart of mine feels too heavy

I close my eyes and you are all I see But it seems fate had something in mind Looks like our book has to close for you and me relationship-wise, I'll always be alone, and that's fine
