I once had a dream

Where you were I and I was you

We stood side by side

Face solemn and cold

Staring at a decrepit mirror

I screamed, the reflection in front of me was you

And you were I

You stood still there staring at your own reflection of me as I turn to the run into the shadows.

I tried to pull you away as my reflection warped

But you were medusa stone

And so I left for the abyss behind us

Which swallowed you and only you whole.
