Post Body

In the twilight of his shattered dreams, A man once loved, or so it seems, But love's sweet promise turned to dust, And in its wake, his heart did rust.

Betrayed by vows once sworn in trust, He wandered lost, his spirit crushed, But in the darkness, a flicker of light, Guided him through the endless night.

With friends and family by his side, He slowly learned to heal, to abide, Their love a balm to ease his pain, And help him find himself again.

Through laughter shared and tears released, He found a sense of inner peace, And though the scars would never fade, He learned to live, not be afraid.

But as he walked the path of time, A shadow lingered in his mind, For though he'd found his strength anew, He grew hesitant to love, it's true.

For once bitten, twice shy, they say, And in his heart, the fear held sway, To open up, to risk the fall, Seemed too much, too great a toll.

So he walked a lonely road, His heart encased in heavy load, For though he longed for love's sweet touch, He feared it, feared it too much.

Yet still he smiled, a glimmer bright, A beacon in the darkest night, For though his journey left him scarred, He found a love that wasn't marred.

A love that bloomed in friendship's light, A love that held him through the night, And though romantic love he'd shun, He found in friendship, love undone.

So let him walk his chosen way, With friends and family, come what may, For though he may never love again, He'll find in friendship, love sustained.
