Your words haunt me
Just as lingering as well as I taunt
We keep encircling, neither wanting to be caught
Yet, somehow it's a thought
One in which you brought
However I know I'm not the one whom you wish to consort
And I despise myself knowing this, in my mind I retort
I wish I could be the one you desire, the one in which you choose to love
Yet these thoughts I push and down I shove
To the one whose darkness compares to my own
Though I am not your home
Beside me sits a hallowed out throne
Who it belongs to, maybe it shall remain unknown
