You look different  Not in the way I pictured you to be I pictured a relatively thin woman A woman who could hide behind a dress tighter than her skin A woman whose stomach was there but laid a bit flatter I saw you as someone I could possibly love Someone who others could possibly adore But when I see you in the pictures I see something unfamiliar but so correct When I see you in reflections of glass I see something that others become blind to When I see you in bathrooms, dressing rooms, and hallway mirrors  I see something I knew existed but was too scared to acknowledge  My eyes water at the thought of you But the tears will cease I just have to become unaware of you Remove my eyes
