I was a stagnant pond

Lack of movement

Confined to one spot

Then one day

Abundant rain appeared

Diving into my waters

Adding until it became something much bigger

No longer trapped in one location or lack or movement

I became moving water flowing through the Earth leaving my mark deep within the soil

Continuing to feed into me and I grew even stronger no long a river but in became part or something collectively bigger

Something stronger, ebbs and flows of continuous movement and not something to be messed with

I'm now the tides that roll in from the ocean

I can be gentle and calm, or I can be a raging storm or maybe I'm that nourishing rain that comes and gives back to the Earth

To grow, to heal, to nourish life
