Singing Heart

Just a pluck at the heartstring,
A gentle strum with a smile.
Vibration rushing down my spine and up my neck,
Flush red heat coupled with melody.
A song just from me to you,
That can’t be heard or understood,
Just felt with the thump, thump, of kept time.
A one man band bursting from my chest,
To sing you that sweet melody one more time,
Letting you know it will always hum your tune.
