How important is it for people’s foot health to have the correct size shoe? How much does a half size matter?
I went to a reputable running shoe store and when they measured me they said I should wear a half size smaller than I have been wearing. In my current shoes, my big toe is a (generous) thumb’s width from the end of the insole, in the smaller size it is a tighter thumb’s width. Now I don’t know which size to get. Both sizes are comfortable.
Can you help me find the right fit for shoes?
What are some guidelines or processes to follow to really be sure of your shoe size?
