Global event won’t build past 68?

Hi, I’m finally able to do the blue global event to LA. For some reason, though I’ve delivered maybe 80 jobs since, it won’t show the counter past 68. Is this a bug? I’ll at least get my qualification prize cuz I’m 50 , but still...anyone know what this is?
