I need some very real/honest opinions on this dress

family wedding is coming up and I thrifted this dress without trying it on (tags still on) and I can't decide if it looks a hot mess or it's actually something I could dress up. I don't own any other pieces like this... especially a spaghetti strap so it's out of my comfort zone BIG TIME
