Do any of you rock climb?
Anything I should know before giving it a go? Questions I should ask the gym?
I’ve climbed before like 2-3 time as a part of team building exercises. I really enjoyed it, but it wasn’t ideal due to the harness being really tight. Which to be honest is not so much a plus size issue imo, more of a body type. My family is a thick thigh family, even the smaller bodies have thick thighs that save lives.
I really want to join a rock climbing gym and make it a hobby. But looking at the gym website, it feel very much a thin and “fit” vibe.
So anyone here rock climb and can offer some insight? Or even things I should do to prep? I run a few times a week and exercise semi-regularly, so this won’t be my first time in a gym… but I can’t like… do a pull-up 🥴.
