Saw a video about "slimming wires"

I just saw a video about a woman who had her mouth literally wired shut so that she can't eat except for small little bites. The comments were filled with encouragement on her weight loss and asking where to get it done. I literally had to sit and cry. How horrible that the world makes people feel like they have to wire their mouth shut to be small enough to be valuable. She said in the comments she doesn't yawn. I'm so deeply sad about how fatphobia makes us harm our bodies.
