I've been fat my whole life. There were times when I was less fat, and times, like now, where I'm hovering around 375 lbs.
As a child, I was shamed for my size by my peers and my family. I also grew up hating my body because of it. Now in my mid-30s, I've successfully been able to stop seeing others through a weighted lens, but I can't do that to myself.
I see others, beautiful fat folks, but I can't see myself as a beautiful fat folk. What were things that helped yall transition from self-loathe to self-love?
