Smell odd in kitchen - sewage odor?
Post Body

I have lived in a house for about three years. Yesterday, I noticed an odor in the kitchen, after running the dishwasher. It is not strong like sewage, but has an “old water” smell. It also rained quite a bit yesterday, and I am wondering, what could this be? How should I have this investigated?

When I bought the house, the plumbing was not inspected because the inspector could not access a plumbing line, according to the inspector.

I really appreciate your time and expertise. I wonder if I should see a doctor….
