Recently replaced shower stemware problem.

I literally bought a new shower diverter and installed it from a 3 handle system to a one handle system. Before the cold was hooked up the shower and tub worked perfectly separately. Now that it’s all hooked up the shower dribbles before it’s turned on. I just spent $400 and 2 weeks doing it myself what the fuck is wrong here! I don’t have any more cash to dump into it!

You pull up on the bar on the faucett and the water gets diverted upwards.
