Flapper came apart and piece got washed down
Post Body

Flapper is unique and at least 3 days shipping away. I have now removed the tank and am unable to locate/retrieve/hear the piece with cell phone camera and flexible "grabber" thingy. I have drained it completely shoved something in each hole and refilled with no indication it is there (no dirty jokes intended). For reference it's the bottom ball part of this 3 piece flapper:

Delta Prelude/Corrente/Riosa 3-3/4 in. Toilet Tank Flapper https://www.homedepot.com/p/Delta-Prelude-Corrente-Riosa-3-3-4-in-Toilet-Tank-Flapper-RP72472/203607147 SKU# 203607147

The flapper by itself is $14 and I don't know if it's actually going to work after I put it in or if it will cause downstream problem after toilet.

Meanwhile $99 for a new toilet doesn't seem too bad assuming I just need the two bolts, wax ring kit, caulk, and elbow grease...

Any ideas how to proceed?
