Cold water overpowering Hot water.
Post Body

Hi all,

I have installed a new mixer on my kitchen sink. We have a cold mains and a low pressure hot side with a header tank. Our cold seems to be back filling our header tank through the hot line causing it to over flow.

Would putting a spring check valve on the hot side work ? Or would i be better to reduce the cold pressure. Replacing mixer is not an option.

15mm PEX lines.

Appreciate any feed back.
