We just moved into our house a few weeks ago, on Saturday we were watching a movie in our basement and noticed a stain on the ceiling- on further inspection it was mold and bubbling paint and was located right under our master bath. We called a local plumbing company out and they came Monday and said that: āCustomer shower pan is a modular pan 4 pc was used for a tile shower walls this isnāt the proper install. Suggest that customer call tile guy to determine best scenario of fixing the issue.ā
So we called a tile person out and they said wouldnāt touch the shower pan because thereās no idea how long itās been leaking and it could be a structural problem. The kitchen and bathrooms were all remodeled after the house sat on the market for a few weeks without any interest so we were the first to use the shower.
So Iām stumped- who do we call? Bounce it back to a different (better) plumber?
