EDIT: Need help with shower drain in basement for bathroom remodel (sorry for bad title).

I have framed the bathroom in the basement to fit with the shower pan and prefab shower walls to account for the current location of the shower drain. Unfortunately, when the concrete was put in after french drain was dug out in basement, the concrete didn't leave much room for the drain exposure. In hindsight, I wasn't planning on finishing the bathroom 1.5 years ago when it was done and could have prevented the problem by instructing the company to leave a gap around drain.

I am looking for solutions to attaching the shower pain/shower drain to the pipe without the need to break through the concrete around the drain. So far the best solution I have come up with is attaching a Fernco PVC Coupling Fitting to the drain and then connecting it with a 2 inch PVC pipe to the drain base shower drain. The problem is that I would need to add about 4-5 inches of cement to the floor around the drain while also leveling the rest of the shower pan region. I also worry about encasing the fernco coupling in cement and future problems with this. This would also create quite a high step to get into the shower and could lead to someone slipping/falling getting out of the shower.

Is there a way to insert a male coupling into the 2 inch pipe in the ground that then could be attached to the shower drain (requires 2 inch pipe). I'm not sure exactly how to describe the idea but it would be like a telescope cylinder going into the pipe in the ground that then becomes a 2 inch pipe to insert into the shower drain base. Something like this. The 1.5 inch pipe does not sit in the 2 inch pipe when I've tried this so looking for other options here.

I am not completely against breaking some of the concrete around the drain to give me more space, but am worried about breaking the pipe and then needing to go down to the slab. The estimate I got from one plumbing company was around 8-10k in order to do this which is way above my budget.

Thanks for any help yall can give. I have gone to my local big box store and shown the pictures to representatives there. They helped come up with the fernco option.
