Is there a good reason not to route my bathroom sink drain to my toilet tank?
Post Body
I'm amateur, but it seems like water from the sink could drain to the toilet tank and save water. I don't see an issue with soapy water, toothpaste and occasional shaving hair going to the tank, but again, I'm amateur.
I see why it might be an issue if HOT water went into porcelain, but I don't think I'd ever run that much hot water to be an issue.
Why isn't this done more regularly, or am I being dumb?
