Hello, I have a pipe joint that spring a leak last night. I am going to be replacing a section with PEX(sp?).
My questions is, I know I have 3/4" running into this Frankenstein joint. What would the gray be? I have never seen it. If it helps, it is a double wide, so I am guessing that is the water line from the manufacturer.
Also wondering, if I am putting 3/4" from the main line, would it hurt anything if I ran more of it, rather than just the small section? Ideally I would like to replace up to the next 'intersection' for lack of a better term.
Thanks!
