No p-trap in the showers.

So I have recently purchased a house in Florida. I had the inspection, nothing major was found by the inspector. I recently had a plumbing issue and found there is no p-trap in either shower. It's just a down pipe to the sewer. The house is on a slab with pumbing under slab. How much is this going to cost me to fix?
Please excuse my lack of knowledge, i am not a plumber but youtube is my 'experience '
