Deep well pump is shot and I can't get it out

I hooked a t bar to the top and pulled it off the hose. Now the hose is down there 4 foot out of reach. I made a slipknot on a rope and can get it around it hooked to a cherry picker but it slides right off eventually. Is there a plumbing tool or something I can use to hook onto the plastic irrigation style pipe to pull it out?
