Shower leakage to our basement

We noticed that our shower has been leaking water when in use. We did the process of elimination. We used a bucket to pour down the drain. No leaks. We turned on the water faucet that filled a bucket. No leaks. We also checked behind the faucet while it was on. No leaks. We aren't sure what's causing the leak.
It leaked to our ceiling which we cut opened up and it looks like the ceiling is just wet.
Any idea?
