Suppose to have water coming out?

The bucket I would say fills up completely like once a month or a few weeks. Does it depend on my temp setting? I don’t have a drain that’s why I need to use the bucket.And how often should I drain it? I’m new to this and had it bout 2 years and haven’t drained it or anything nor do I know how
