I really just need life advice from a fellow plumber. I worked non union for about 3 years as a service plumber with about a quarter of that time being new build. I finally got into the union about 3 months ago as a pre apprentice. My union shop im working for right now and the fact that it's gonna be 6 years worth of schooling makes me already not want to stick around. I'm having to be on site at 5:25am every day to shovel, and if this shop doesn't like me I might not even get the apprenticeship. I also took an 8$ an hour pay cut to come to the union but so far I deeply regret it and im thinking about changing career paths. Any advice would be appreciated
