2 Piece Tub Leaking
Post Body

Hi All,

I have a 2 piece tub that has a leak underneath it. Droplets of water seeping through bottom portion and top portion between the two pieces where the rubber seal/gasket is.

I took the tub out and can see the cold water line is leaking where it connects to the tub cold water fixture. Looks like either minimal putty was used or it has started to come off

My Question: Is this as simple is using a wrench and disconnecting the line (where the gold meets the brown with the minimal white putty in between) applying new putty and reconnecting?

I know little about plumbing but hoping I can take care of this myself.

This tub is such junk but wanting to make it work rather than spending on a new tub.

Note: the cold water and hot water come out of same spigot. (Flat/Waterfall one in the middle)
