23 years old looking to either get into plumbing or hvac. Looking for some advice on how to get started in this career with no previous experience or schooling as I wanna try it out before I invest in schooling. Should I just go around to all the plumbing companies around town and hand out resumes and explain my interest, can I get on as a helper kind of role to try it out? Even though I have no previous experience plumbing I do Have 4 year’s experience in piping(used to work in plants and weld shops) so I know a thing or two of piping just metal. Thanks!
