Old cast iron junction, not sure how to interface a modern pipe.
Post Body
This old cast iron 3 way joint had some galvanized 1.25 inch just kinda, stuck in there, which rotted away. There looks to Lead and Oakham left over in the hole, along with the rotted chunk of galvanized.
Best idea I've got is a 1 3/8 step drill bit.
How would you recommend clearing the hole so I can fit a new section of pipe?
The cast iron runs from the basement to the roof to vent the plumbing. The galvanized connected two sink drains to the vent. After too many "did you fart" questions we found the problem.
