So, the sink drain keeps breaking. This is my fiancé’s house and the plumbers installed this sink over a vanity that was meant for a left handed sink, but they closed/ cut it off to have a middle sink.
It ends up leaking all under my stepdaughter’s sink and on her nail polish and stuff and generally is a huge mess because she only lets me know it’s leaking when it’s literally about to pour over the trim on the bottom of the vanity. I luckily found it broken, this time, before it began leaking again.
The drain ring keeps breaking off, no matter what I do, no matter how much or little tension I put on the threaded pipe used to connect this to the porcelain sink, no matter what I try.
What am I missing? And how am I supposed to fix this, so it doesn’t keep happening?
Thanks guys!
