Not sure if this is the right place to ask, but I figure plumbers deal with pressure, so maybe you guys will know. I want a longer hose on my sandblaster. OEM hose is rated for 200 PSI. 1/2" ID. Can I couple a new hose onto the OEM hose to extend the length? I would need a hose coupler rated for 200 PSI. This is a 10 gallon homeowner sandblaster so I doubt any commercial sandblaster parts will fit it. I'm thinking maybe just a length of pipe and hose clamp the hoses to each end, but I have no idea what pipe is rated for 200 PSI. Or would one longer hose be a better idea, instead of coupling two hoses?
